Window Replacement

Energy-efficient windows will save you money in the long run. These windows will help you make your home more energy-efficient. Heating and cooling are accountable for around 40% of the average energy budget and you don’t want that energy escaping through your windows.

Insulation Services

Insulation will assist you in keeping your home at the ideal temperature throughout the year, protecting it from the cold in the winter and the heat in the summer. Noise pollution can be reduced further by insulating the property. A well-insulated home is extremely energy efficient, requiring little additional heating and cooling.

Air Sealing

At its most basic level, air sealing your home entails blocking the gaps that allow conditioned air to escape and outside air to enter. Air can enter through fractures, inadequately sealed entrances, or ineffective weatherstripping. Through the air sealing process, we will locate and repair any leaks or gaps in your house’s envelope, both inside and out.

Gutter Systems

Gutters funnel the water that falls on your roof into a single stream that flows away from your home. Without gutters, it is possible for water runoff to pool around your property, seeping into the foundation and eventually causing water damage.

Window Replacement and Installation

Windows that are energy-efficient will reduce your cooling and heating needs. During the hot months, you’ll notice that your HVAC unit isn’t working as hard to keep the interior of your home nice and cool. There won’t be any drafts when you’re sitting near the windows – even during the cold winter. High-efficiency windows improve the internal comfort of your home regardless of the weather outside.

Because the internal glass surface is warmer, there will be no frost or condensation in the winter, thanks to the window’s ability to regulate humidity. The sun’s rays enter your home through your windows, fading anything from paper to paint to carpeting and wood over time. By installing new, energy-efficient windows, you will decrease the intensity of sunlight entering your home, hence reducing interior fading. Unlike tinted windows, energy-efficient windows function without tint, allowing for more natural light and vistas.

Gutter Systems

Rain gutters are critical because they safeguard your home against rain and water damage. Without a gutter system, rainwater would most likely accumulate on your roof, resulting in rot, deterioration, or mold. This can cause your shingles and fascia to deteriorate. Gravity naturally draws water from your roof down to your windows, siding, and foundation.

Condensation occurs when there is moisture in the windows, causing damage to the sill and inner walls. There will also be the possibility of mold and dirt developing. When water pools against the foundation of your home, it creates erosion, erodes the integrity and structure, and floods the basement.

Insulation

Heating and cooling use between 50% and 70% of the energy consumed in an ordinary home. Insulating your home is the most practical and cost-effective method of increasing its energy efficiency. It will keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and can save you up to 50% on your energy cost. Additionally, insulation can help prevent moisture in your home and certain forms of insulation can help make it more soundproof. A properly insulated home is extremely energy efficient and requires minimal additional heating and cooling.

The most critical element of a house to insulate is the walls, which normally lose around 30%-40% of heat, followed by the roof, which loses about 25% of heat, then doors and windows which are accountable for around 20% heat lose, and finally the floor.

Air Sealing

A drafty house wastes more than natural resources – it also results in increased energy costs. By air sealing, you’ll naturally save money on your energy bills because there should be less leaks both inside and outside the house. Air sealing also considerably reduces the amount of humidity that enters, which plays a vital role in a home’s comfort level.

Properly air sealing your home is crucial for energy saving and has a significant impact on your utility bills. By air sealing several areas of your home where energy is lost, you can save up to 30% on your energy bills. Additionally, air leaks contribute significantly to discomfort, moisture issues, and even poor air quality.

Weatherization

Weatherization is crucial for decreasing energy waste and monthly energy costs in your house. Our mission is to inform our customers on how their houses utilize energy and how they can save money on their monthly utility bills by minimizing unnecessary usage.
Weatherization is the process of protecting the interior of a home from the elements, most notably sunlight, rain, and wind, and altering the area to minimize energy usage and maximize efficiency. Our weatherization process is quick and simple. To begin, there is the attic. There are several reasons for energy to leave from your home, but the attic is one of the most critical. A poorly insulated attic will waste approximately 15% of your energy. Summer temperatures in the attic typically range between 140 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Proper attic ventilation is crucial for the efficiency of your home’s heating and cooling systems. Without adequate ventilation, moisture can build up in the attic, resulting in mold, mildew, and even impaired attic insulation efficiency. We will work with you to discover and resolve any of these problems in your home.

Acworth, GA

Acworth is a city located in Cobb County, Georgia. Acworth’s population is estimated to be 22,818 in 2019. This city has a population of 20,425, up from 13,422 in 2000, according to the 2010 census. Acworth is located in the foothills of the North Georgia highlands on the southeastern banks of the Etowah River, between Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona. Acworth encompasses unincorporated portions in Bartow, Cherokee, and Paulding counties.

Due to its proximity to Lake Allatoona and Lake Acworth, Acworth is frequently referred to as “the Lake City.” As with the rest of Cobb County, Acworth was created out of the former Cherokee Nation in 1831 following the natives’ expulsion. In 1851, the town received telegraph lines. On December 1, 1860, Acworth was incorporated.

Things To Do in Acworth, GA

By the 1880s, it had recovered significantly due to the surrounding cotton fields, but it remained racially separated until 1967. Since then, it has grown in size, combining a gorgeous environment with a variety of attractions.

Acworth Beach

Make the most of Georgia’s pleasant weather all year by visiting Acworth Beach. It is located in Cauble Park on the northern edge of Lake Acworth.

It features tons of pristine sand that was transported in by truck during the construction of this man-made lake.

Additionally, this serene setting only minutes from downtown Acworth is a great area for people to enjoy their lakefront location to the fullest.

Main Street

Main Street, Acworth’s historic hub, predates European colonization in the area and was long utilized as a commerce route by Cherokee aboriginal Americans.

For decades, the street has been the focal point of activity in this little rural town, with a number of commercial establishments dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.

Despite the advent of larger malls elsewhere in town, its Victorian-era architecture continues to provide a home for a variety of businesses, restaurants, and independent boutiques.

Liberty Hill Cemetery

Liberty Hill Cemetery is both attractive and historically significant. It is located off Main Street’s northern end.

Established shortly after Acworth’s initial settlement, its earliest recorded grave dates to 1847. Acworth’s First Baptist Church was also located nearby.

It was damaged during the American Civil War, reconstructed in 1866, and then sold. Consider visiting the Bethel AME Church, an existing religious institution with a comparable length of history, with its beautiful Romanesque Revival architecture dating from the 1870s.
