When It’s Time To Replace My Windows

Windows increase energy efficiency, protect the home from the weather, give light and ventilation, and enhance both the interior and exterior looks. However, windows are sometimes one of the most neglected aspects of a property.

People pay little attention to them unless something goes wrong. And as windows age, a variety of issues may necessitate window replacement.
If you observe any of the following problems with your current windows, it is strongly recommended that you invest in replacements. This would not only help you in improving your home’s appearance, but it will also drastically reduce your energy cost and save you money.

Window Replacement in Acworth, GA

Windows that are energy-efficient will reduce your cooling and heating needs. During the hot months, you’ll notice that your HVAC unit isn’t working as hard to keep the interior of your home nice and cool. There won’t be any drafts when you’re sitting near the windows – even during the cold winter. High-efficiency windows improve the internal comfort of your home regardless of the weather outside.

Because the internal glass surface is warmer, there will be no frost or condensation in the winter, thanks to the window’s ability to regulate humidity. The sun’s rays enter your home through your windows, fading anything from paper to paint to carpeting and wood over time. By installing new, energy-efficient windows, you will decrease the intensity of sunlight entering your home, hence reducing interior fading. Unlike tinted windows, energy-efficient windows function without tint, allowing for more natural light.

Why You Should Replace Your Windows

Replacement of old windows should be a priority for everyone who wants to raise the value of their home because it is one of the most significant investments they will ever make. This smart investment will safeguard your family and possessions, lower your energy bills, allow you to appreciate the natural beauty around your home, and significantly improve your health and happiness.

Energy Efficiency

When considering why windows are installed in homes, the first thing to consider is that they play a significant role in determining the efficiency of your home. This will have a significant impact on the quality of the air in your house, especially in the winter.

The sun’s rays not only provide light but also provide heat and windows allow you to tap into this energy source and harness it to raise the temperature of your home without spending extra money on your energy bills.

Aesthetics

When it comes to boosting your home’s curb appeal, replacement windows are one of the best investments you can make. When you look at a house, your eyes are naturally pulled to the windows.

Modern windows will significantly improve your home’s exterior appeal and property value. If you’re upgrading your property in preparation to sell, new windows will significantly increase its market value.

Why Choose Our Windows

Low-E Glass

Low-E glass windows are designed to reflect heat away from the glass surface, regardless of where the heat is coming from. The glass is coated with two to three layers of tiny silver particles. The heat is reflected by these silver particles in the same way that aluminum foil does. When it’s hot outside, the heat reflects away. When it’s cold outside, heat from within the house reflects off the glass and back into the room.

Argon Gas

In the case of double-pane windows, the pumped air functions as an additional insulation layer. This improves the energy efficiency of a window, but it also has the additional benefit of significantly reducing external noise.

Slim But Strong Frames

Our windows provide the most glass area possible without sacrificing strength or durability. The “SlimLine” design of our windows provides you with 12 to 16 % more glass area than the majority of other windows on the market. Our windows are designed to let light in and allow you to have the widest viewing area possible.

Standard Features Of Our Windows

  • Our windows are 100% pure virgin vinyl. Pure virgin vinyl is the strongest and most durable material available.
  • 3-1/4″ Heavy Duty Frames
  • All of our windows come with fully fusion-welded frames and sashes. The creation of fusion-welded material involves heating two things and joining them when the material melts. This joint is tough, if not impossible, to separate once it has been cured. This produces a watertight and airtight seal.
  • Dual Weather-Stripping. By redirecting water, weather stripping prevents rain and moisture from entering a structure through window openings. It also retains internal air for comfort and to conserve energy on heating and air conditioning.
  • 3/4″ Double Pane/Insulated Glass
  • Upper Sash Vent Stops. The upper sash is fitted with sash stops, which prevents the sashes from slipping over each other. Therefore, they are prevented from opening the window.
  • Full Interlocking Rails. Windows are equipped with an interlock system where the sash frames connect along with their interface and pull securely together to reduce air leakage. This is a common characteristic of window designs of superior quality.
  • Core Composite Reinforcement
  • Constant Force Balances. This mechanism helps window windows to open and close without problems.
  • Sloped sill that allows windows to remove dirt and debris whenever it rains.

Weatherization

Weatherization is crucial for decreasing energy waste and monthly energy costs in your house. Our mission is to inform our customers on how their houses utilize energy and how they can save money on their monthly utility bills by minimizing unnecessary usage.

Weatherization is the process of protecting the interior of a home from the elements, most notably sunlight, rain, and wind, and altering the area to minimize energy usage and maximize efficiency. Our weatherization process is quick and simple. To begin, there is the attic. There are several reasons for energy to leave your home, but the attic is one of the most critical. A poorly insulated attic will waste approximately 15% of your energy. Summer temperatures in the attic typically range between 140 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

Proper attic ventilation is crucial for the efficiency of your home’s heating and cooling systems. Without adequate ventilation, moisture can build up in the attic, resulting in mold, mildew, and even impaired attic insulation efficiency. We will work with you to discover and resolve any of these problems in your home.

Acworth, GA

Acworth is a city located in Cobb County, Georgia. Acworth’s population is estimated to be 22,818 in 2019. This city has a population of 20,425, up from 13,422 in 2000, according to the 2010 census. Acworth is located in the foothills of the North Georgia highlands on the southeastern banks of the Etowah River, between Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona. Acworth encompasses unincorporated portions in Bartow, Cherokee, and Paulding counties.

Due to its proximity to Lake Allatoona and Lake Acworth, Acworth is frequently referred to as “the Lake City.” As with the rest of Cobb County, Acworth was created out of the former Cherokee Nation in 1831 following the natives’ expulsion. In 1851, the town received telegraph lines. On December 1, 1860, Acworth was incorporated.

Things To Do in Acworth, GA

By the 1880s, it had recovered significantly due to the surrounding cotton fields, but it remained racially separated until 1967. Since then, it has grown in size, combining a gorgeous environment with a variety of attractions.

Acworth Beach

Make the most of Georgia’s pleasant weather all year by visiting Acworth Beach. It is located in Cauble Park on the northern edge of Lake Acworth.

It features tons of pristine sand that was transported in by truck during the construction of this man-made lake.

Additionally, this serene setting only minutes from downtown Acworth is a great area for people to enjoy their lakefront location to the fullest.

Main Street

Main Street, Acworth’s historic hub, predates European colonization in the area and was long utilized as a commerce route by Cherokee aboriginal Americans.

For decades, the street has been the focal point of activity in this little rural town, with a number of commercial establishments dating from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.

Despite the advent of larger malls elsewhere in town, its Victorian-era architecture continues to provide a home for a variety of businesses, restaurants, and independent boutiques.

Liberty Hill Cemetery

Liberty Hill Cemetery is both attractive and historically significant. It is located off Main Street’s northern end.

Established shortly after Acworth’s initial settlement, its earliest recorded grave dates to 1847. Acworth’s First Baptist Church was also located nearby.

It was damaged during the American Civil War, reconstructed in 1866, and then sold. Consider visiting the Bethel AME Church, an existing religious institution with a comparable length of history, with its beautiful Romanesque Revival architecture dating from the 1870s.
